We are ready to open parking permits to the sophomore class. However, due to an increase in student drivers on campus, we have very limited parking spaces available…..like less than 15 spaces. We know there are at least fifteen 10thgraders who have a driver license and who are ready to drive to school. It is our hope to initiate a process that gives each eligible driver a fair opportunity to obtain a parking permit. If you are interested in parking on campus, then please follow the instructions below.
Please complete the parking agreement and return it to the 3rd floor, 12th grade office before the end of the day October 29th. Any 10th grade student who has a driver’s license (not a drivers permit), an insured vehicle, and a signed parking agreement by October 29th is eligible for the parking lottery.
On Monday, November 1st, students with all completed documents will be called to the cafeteria during Spartan Time so that we can conduct the lottery for the remaining spots. The selected winners will be notified and will then be asked to pay the $50.00 parking permit fee. Students are not required to pay to enter the lottery. Payment is only required if receiving a parking permit. There will not be an increase in the parking fee.
We will reassess the parking lot and sell all available spots but we will not oversell parking. As a reminder, parking at Don Coleman Coliseum is reserved for Stratford staff and campus visitors. Stratford does not have authorization to permit students to park at Don Coleman Coliseum. Students parking at Don Coleman Coliseum are subject to be towed.
